Job Description
The Employment Solicitor will be responsible for:
3. Developing and updating employment policies, procedures, and contracts.
4. Managing disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
5. Handling employment tribunal claims, including conducting advocacy.
6. Providing training to internal stakeholders to enhance understanding of employment law.
7. Monitoring and advising on changes in employment legislation.
The Successful Applicant
The Employment Solicitor should be:
8. A qualified solicitor or equivalent with 3+ years PQE.
9. Experienced in handling respondent employment matters, ideally from retail clients.
10. Proficient in managing tribunal claims and ideally conducting advocacy but not essential.
11. Skilled in developing and implementing employment policies and procedures.
12. Adept at delivering training and upskilling initiatives.
