We are working with a well-regarded and established law firm who are looking to recruit a Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join their busy property team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality real estate matters within a supportive environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with fee earners, supporting on a variety of residential and real estate finance transactions, with genuine scope to develop their skills and progress their career.
Typical duties for the role will include:
Assisting with a range of property transactions including freehold, leasehold, new builds, remortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions.
Supporting fee earners through exchange and completion.
Preparing and submitting SDLT returns.
Submitting HM Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions.
Handling leasehold post-completion requirements.
Completing Companies House submissions.
Liaising with clients, agents and solicitors to handle general enquiries.
Opening and closing files in accordance with firm procedures.
Assisting with AML and compliance requirements.
The successful candidate will have:
A minimum of 12 months’ experience as a Property Paralegal.
Experience handling SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
A strong understanding of the conveyancing process.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach.
The ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
