Description
Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
Provide expert advice and guidance on the use of medications to patients and healthcare professionals.
Ensure the safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations.
Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders as required to maintain availability.
Supervise and train pharmacy support staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Deliver healthcare services such as vaccinations and health checks, where appropriate.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all pharmacy activities.
Promote a culture of safety and quality within the pharmacy setting.Profile
A successful Pharmacist should have:
A recognised degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical legislation and best practices.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and colleagues.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
