We are seeking a highly experienced Chef Manager to join one of the UK's largest healthcare providers. The role is based in a care home and involves full responsibility for the preparation and production of food, managing the full dining experience, and overseeing food ordering and stock management.

Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of catering within the home, ensuring quality service and dining experience in compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
* Lead and manage the catering team, overseeing performance
* Deliver nutritious and appealing menus, accommodating dietary needs and allergen information, with proper record-keeping
* Maintain a work-life balance with social, flexible hours
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure efficient delivery, stock levels, and budget control
* Oversee Food Safety Management System, including COSHH and cleaning schedules, ensuring high standards of cleanliness
* Practice safe working systems, assessing risks to ensure safety of residents, visitors, and staff
* Conduct weekly stock takes and submit budget reports
