Finance Analyst

Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Worksop area as they look to recruit a Finance Analyst into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure all accounting allocations are accurate and fully documented, with a focus on gross profit reporting
* Support timely and precise reporting on sales performance and stock levels
* Uphold internal financial controls, ensuring robust checks and balances are in place
* Prepare a variety of reports, including weekly KPI updates for stock management, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and gross margin analysis for actuals, budgets, and forecasts
* Maintain and improve financial systems while ensuring master data remains accurate
* Provide coverage for the Financial Controller when required
Qualifications and Skills Required:
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
* Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, offering innovative solutions to challenges
* Advanced Excel expertise, including proficiency in functions like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and macros, along with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets
* Solid analytical and reporting skills with relevant experience
