Role Overview
We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our platforms and driving engineering excellence across the organization. As a senior engineer, you will:
1. Own end-to-end delivery of complex features and services, ensuring they meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
2. Act as a technical leader, guiding design decisions, mentoring peers, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Bridge the gap between business and technology, translating requirements into robust solutions while challenging assumptions to deliver optimal outcomes.
4. Champion best practices in software engineering, from clean code and automated testing to modern DevOps and cloud-native approaches.
5. Collaborate across teams and disciplines, engaging with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
6. Drive innovation, leveraging emerging technologies and frameworks to evolve our systems toward a target-state architecture that supports future growth.

Key Responsibilities
7. Champion engineering improvements and clearly articulate design principles to peers and the wider organization.
8. Promote and support adherence to a well-defined Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) that enables effective planning, prioritization, and delivery.
9. Lead estimation discussions by leveraging experience, challenging assumptions, and fostering innovative solutions.
10. Facilitate conversations on software systems and architecture to guide meaningful technical decisions.
11. Drive system evolution toward target-state architecture through strategic refactoring and prioritized delivery.
Experience / Competencies:
Frontend Development
12. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), including TypeScript.
13. Strong experience with the React ecosystem: React, Redux, React Query, and GraphQL.
14. Skilled in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
15. Familiarity with RESTful API integration and version control using Git.
Backend Development
16. Demonstrated experience in full-stack engineering with TypeScript.
17. Proficient in SQL and API development using REST and GraphQL.
18. Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, containerization, and event-driven systems using Pub/Sub technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, SOLACE, AMQP).
19. Comfortable with scripting in Linux shell and Windows PowerShell.
Cloud & DevOps
20. Practical experience with the AWS ecosystem and AWS CLI (or equivalent).
21. Skilled in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
22. Committed to maintaining code quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Software Engineering Practices
23. Deep understanding of the full SDLC within Agile, cross-functional teams.
24. Proven track record of delivering reusable services across multiple projects.
25. Strong grasp of SOLID principles and software design patterns.
26. Experience building well-tested software for low-latency, production-grade environments.
Tooling & Collaboration
27. Proficient with Agile project management tools such as JIRA.
28. Skilled in automated testing and continuous integration workflows.
