Nestled in the heart of the Lake District, Ullswater Holiday Park offers the perfect escape for families, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
We are seeking a friendly, flexible and proactive individual to join our team in a multi-skilled role that spans mainly administrative/reception duties, retail operations, coffee shop service and does include some accommodation cleaning.
As the first point of contact at our holiday park reception, you will be instrumental in creating a positive experience for our visitors. The ideal candidate must have strong customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure a positive experience for clients and customers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsiblities.
Responsibilities
* Guest services - welcome and greet guests, handing check- ins and check-outs, answering inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
* Manage the holiday park's booking system, process payments, assist guests with planning their stay.
* Perform general office operations, including answering phone calls and responding to emails with professionalism and courtesy
* Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy access to important documents
* Provide clerical support, including typing correspondence, memos, and other documents as required
* Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing to a positive work environment
* Serve customers in the on-site shop, restock shelves, maintain a clean and organised retail space.
* Prepare and serve hot beverages, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Clean and prepare holiday units to a high standard.
Skills
* A genuine desire to provide outstanding service and a friendly, welcoming attitude.
* Basic IT skills would be beneficial.
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and school holidays.
* Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and colleagues
* Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
