Protocol Education is delighted to be supporting a friendly and inclusive secondary school located in the beautiful far north of Northumberland, close to the rugged North Sea coastline and within easy reach of the Scottish Borders. The school is seeking a dedicated French teacher to join them from September 2025 to cover a maternity leave.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their practice in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. The role offers:
The chance to teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4
A full-time position, with consideration given to part-time applicants

You will need:
QTS or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification (or be on track to achieve this by summer 2025)
A passion for French and a creative, engaging approach to teaching
The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Strong classroom management and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality education
