Job Summary
Rotational Band 5 Occupational Therapists within the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. Full-time post offering the opportunity to develop skills across acute inpatient settings. Seeking enthusiastic, motivated and professional individuals to join our friendly and supportive Therapy Service (Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy). Our service is part of the wider Rehabilitation Service which includes Dietetics and Speech & Language Therapy. You will be encouraged and supported to develop clinical and teaching skills, and be actively involved in service development through preceptorship, action learning sets, clinical and managerial supervision, and performance appraisals.
Cross‑site working is a MUST for this role.
Rotations (6‑month cycle)
* Orthopaedics (2 rotations)
* Stroke
* Combined Medicine, Critical Care & Surgery
Main Duties
* Continuously develop clinically and professionally as an occupational therapist.
* Contribute to patient management and overall team development across all rotational specialties.
* Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members during rotational placements.

Person Specification
Essential
* Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC Registered
* Wide variety of fieldwork placements in core rotations
* Acute hospital experience
* Sound level of theoretical knowledge
* Basic knowledge of the multidisciplinary team
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
* Able to work as a team member and independently
* Ability to present information in a logical concise manner
* Ability to manage own time and pressure including clinical caseload
* Ability to demonstrate personal and clinical effectiveness to achieve optimum patient care
* Strong belief in CPD and reflective practice
Desirable
* A member of RCOT
* Independently mobile to access all work sites within job role
