Are you an ambitious and hands-on Financial Controller ready to step into a high-impact role within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial FMCG business?
I'm working exclusively with a dynamic client based in Bracknell who is going through rapid growth and showing no signs of slowing down. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant, commercially-minded team where no two days are the same. The company operates in a complex, multi-entity environment and needs a Financial Controller who can roll their sleeves up, manage the day-to-day financial operations, and also support the Finance Director on wider strategic and commercial initiatives.
You'll be working closely with a progressive FD and managing a small finance team, while playing a crucial part in helping the business scale and optimise its operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the month-end close process across multiple entities
* Lead and develop of the finance team
* Manage external audits and statutory accounts
* Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial compliance
* Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
* Partner with the FD on commercial analysis: margins, product costings, pricing strategy
* Support operational teams with financial insight and decision support
* Drive process improvements and systems enhancements
* Liaise with external advisors including auditors, banks, and tax advisors
About You:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Hands-on, can-do attitude with a strong sense of ownership
* Proven experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment
* Commercial mindset – confident working beyond the numbers and partnering across the business
This role is hybrid, with 3–4 days per week in the Bracknell office.
