We are seeking a proactive and process-driven Repair Manager to oversee the delivery of repair works through a nationwide contractor network.

You will be responsible for ensuring repairs are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest standards. Acting as the key link between contractors, surveyors, claims teams, and operational stakeholders, you will oversee repair performance, contractor governance, compliance requirements, and quality assurance activities.
This is a hands-on operational role focused on process ownership and contractor management rather than direct people management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee repair delivery across a network of approved contractors
2. Monitor performance, service levels, repair progress, and customer outcomes
3. Manage complex, high-risk, and escalated repair matters
4. Review repair variations and support final account validation
5. Drive contractor performance, consistency, and service quality
6. Build strong working relationships with contractors and key stakeholders
7. Support contractor onboarding, due diligence, and governance processes
8. Ensure compliance documentation remains accurate and audit-ready
9. Lead contractor audits and quality assurance reviews
10. Identify operational and compliance risks and implement corrective actions
11. Support continuous improvement initiatives across repairs and governance
12. Assist with reporting, audit preparation, and operational reviews
13. Provide technical guidance to repair coordination teams where required
About You
14. Experience within property repairs, contractor management, insurance claims, facilities management, or a similar environment
15. Strong understanding of repair processes and contractor governance
16. Experience managing compliance documentation and operational workflows
17. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
18. Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
19. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
20. The ability to identify risks and drive operational improvements
Desirable Experience
Insurance claims or loss adjusting background
Knowledge of CDM regulations and contractor compliance requirements
Experience conducting contractor audits or quality assurance reviews
Understanding of reinstatement, restoration, or building repair works
Experience using claims management systems
