About the role
We are pleased to invite applications for a Centre Officer to support the Manchester Lung Centre on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract, funded by the North West Lung Centre Charity.
The Manchester Lung Centre is an exciting new partnership between the University of Manchester and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Our aim is to bring together world‑leading research and world‑leading clinical care to create a flagship centre for excellence in lung health research and care. We are currently in the planning phase. This 18‑month post will play a key role in helping us plan and establish the centre.
Key responsibilities
The Centre Officer will support the set‑up and coordination of the Manchester Lung Centre. Working closely with the Academic and Clinical Leads, the postholder will manage workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, work on business case development and help drive progress towards the launch of the new centre.
