PA to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral & Welfare) role at St Edward's School, Oxford. Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits. Contract: Temporary for the Autumn Term (until 5 December 2025). Hours: Full time, term time only. Required: ASAP.
The role
If you are a highly organised and experienced administrator, St Edward's Oxford has an exciting temporary opportunity to provide essential secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral and Welfare). You will support the day-to-day running of the Pastoral Office by handling enquiries, drafting correspondence, minuting meetings and managing diaries on behalf of the Deputy Heads.
You will also assist with the administration and renewal of Child Student Visas, including preparing CAS statements for applications, conducting the UKVI required “Right to Study” checks for pupils on school-sponsored visas, and maintaining up-to-date records of passports and other documentation for all international pupils.
Requirements include previous experience in a senior secretarial or PA role, professionalism, discretion and confidentiality, with excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills. Strong IT skills and familiarity with MS Office are essential. The contract may be renewed for further terms by mutual agreement.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Heads (Pastoral & Welfare)

* Collaborate with school teams to ensure smooth operation of the Pastoral Office
