Our client, based in Aberdeen is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team on a staff permanent basis. To lead, mentor, and manage the team of QHSE Advisors, ensuring effective workload management, professional development, and high performance. This role has the potential to lead to a promotional opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of QHSE Advisors, overseeing client work delivery and engagement, and ensuring a high standard of service across all contracts. Involved in developing new business opportunities, supporting client relationships, and assisting with tendering and new contract set-up. These may include (but are not limited to): Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, Information Security & GDPR, ensuring continual improvement to meet or exceed applicable standards such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001. REQUIREMENTS Proven track record in a similar role, including QHSE background, ideally with supervisory or team lead experience. Experience in a fast-paced work environment. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. Lead Auditor Qualification in at least one discipline: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or 27001. Must have a clean UK Driving Licence. Must have a high degree of initiative and “energy” with a can-do attitude, flexibility, teamwork and attention to detail. Must be independent and self-motivated and able to work effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills, including a strong work ethic, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Must be able to meet deadlines.
