Band 3 Enhanced Care Healthcare Support Worker (ECHCSW)
We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our staff bank as a Band 3 Enhanced Care Healthcare Support Worker, with flexibility to work across Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and therapeutic support to patients and their families.
* Support patients with challenging behaviors using a compassionate, therapeutic approach.
* Promote dignity, safety and wellbeing at all times.
* Work across wards and departments on a shift-by-shift basis, under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals.
* Deliver flexible working shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
* Attend Enhanced Care Health Care Support Worker Induction Day and subsequent training and clinical induction programmes.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Nationally approved HEE Care Certificate obtained in a healthcare setting.
* Commitment to maintaining patient safety and resilience in a busy and challenging environment.
* Subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check at Enhanced Level.
* Not eligible for sponsorship (UK visa/immigration).
* Will be required to complete corporate trust induction and Clinical Induction Programme, including classroom and shift training.

Additional Information
All successful applicants will be required to complete our corporate trust induction once a start date has been agreed. The Clinical Induction Programme for Healthcare Support Workers starts on the first day of employment and lasts two weeks.
