About the apprenticeship
Duties
•Assist in the implementation and configuration of the company’s ERP system across all departments.
•Support the integration of existing business processes into the ERP platform.
•Provide day-to-day support for ERP users, troubleshooting issues and escalating where necessary.
•Work with senior staff and business stakeholders to understand requirements and adapt ERP modules accordingly.
•Participate in testing, training, and documentation to ensure smooth system adoption.
•Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of ERP system functionality.
•Collaborate with external vendors or consultants during ERP upgrades or customisations.
•Apply basic coding or scripting knowledge (e.g., SQL, Python, VBA, or similar) to support reporting, automation and data analysis tasks.
•Monitor and maintain data integrity, security and compliance within the ERP system.
•Stay up to date with ERP best practices, tools and technologies to support continuous improvement.

Requirements
Qualifications
GCSE (or equivalent) in English at Grade A*-C/Level 2
GCSE (or equivalent) in an IT subject: Desirable
•Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems or a related field.
•Strong willingness to learn, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.
•Basic knowledge of ERP systems (experience with Exel EFACS or similar is advantageous).
•Familiarity with databases, SQL queries, or coding/scripting languages is desirable.
•Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
•Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
•Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
