Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Bristol or Warrington, Cheshire. Hybrid working arrangement.

Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact systems engineering across a major long‑term nuclear programme.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
* Lead and direct systems engineering activities across complex programmes
* Allocate tasks and oversee delivery from a team of systems engineers
* Mentor and support junior engineers to grow capability across the team
* Deliver hands‑on systems engineering including requirements, architecture, and integration
* Lead and contribute to technical and design reviews with key stakeholders
Essential Experience
* Strong systems engineering experience across requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, verification and validation
* Leadership or mentoring experience within engineering teams
* Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary engineering programmes
* Reviewing technical outputs and leading engineering or design reviews
* Application of full lifecycle systems engineering expertise
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (desirable)
