I’m working with a growing, globally recognised engineering business looking to bring in a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen their design team.

What you’ll be doing
* Designing engine ancillaries (oil, water & fuel pumps)
* Applying first principles engineering & problem-solving
* Ensuring designs are optimised for manufacture (DFM)
* Producing 3D CAD models, drawings & engineering reports
* Collaborating with internal teams, customers & suppliers
What they’re looking for
* Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years’ experience
* Strong 3D CAD capability (Creo preferred)
* Background in electro-mechanical product design
* Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA & DFM
* Experience with metal & plastic components
* Exposure to rotating components (bearings, seals, gears) is a bonus
* Work for a market-leading engineering business
