We have 5 restaurants in our group - 2 in Bristol, 1 in Bath, 1 in Cheltenham & 1 in Cardiff.Bosco pizzeria are looking for a driven, ambitious, enthusiastic and passionate head chef to head up our flagship restaurant, Bosco Pizzeria, Whiteladies Road, Bristol.We are looking for someone who enjoys being an inspirational leader of a kitchen team, we hope to find the perfect head chef to help convey our passion for fresh, seasonal & stunning Italian produce and cookery, as well as someone who is dedicate to training, developing and inspiring young chefs and enthusing a whole restaurant with passion for what we do.You will also need a solid financial understanding in the kitchen, with the ability to achieve GP & payroll targets and a love for being part of a busy & lively restaurant atmosphere.Your key responsibilities will be: Full operational control over the day to day running of the kitchen Ensuring every dish that leaves the pass is cooked & presented to the highest standards Training all members of your team to develop them to be the best chefs they can be Full rota control and responsibility, along with the general manager, for achieving payroll targets Following stock control procedures to hit a GP target Liaising with our suppliers for ordering Ensuring that all relevant H&S and food safety obligations are adhered to and managed using our systems Ensuring that a positive working environment is maintained, where all members of staff continue to learn and progressWhat we are offering: Base Salary of £40,000 per annum Tronc tips estimated between £11k - £13k annually. All tips are evenly shared between all employees.
