We are searching for a UI/UX Designer to join an innovative and forward-thinking provider of fleet and asset management software.
Key Benefits:
* £30,000 - £40,000 pa, dependent on experience
* Hybrid – Monthly meetings in Tamworth office with some flexibility required.

Skills & Experience:
Our ideal candidate will be a natural creative with a genuine passion for technology and an ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
* 3+ years’ experience within UI/UX Design.
* A Design Portfolio demonstrating both creative and UI/UX skills.
* An ability to understand the needs of the customer and subsequently incorporate this into the design process.
* An aptitude for using a logical, step-by-step process to ensure designs areuser friendly and communicated well across different departments of the business.
* A strong understanding of design principles.
* The ability to use your own initiative and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Desirable:
* A good understanding of usability factors in computer science.
* Knowledge of Balsamiq wireframing tool.
* Experience of WinForms Applications.
The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent user experience by designing new visually captivating software products to add to our client’s portfolio whilst also updating existing product features. This will be achieved by:
* Liaising with end users of the product to create user personas, user journeys and site maps and clearly define user requirements.
* Translating concepts into wireframes, prototypes and user flows using specialist tools.
* Conducting ongoing user research and running workshops for clients and internal stakeholders to test new ideas.
* Working on cross-platform applications to develop user experiences covering mobile phones, tablets and computers.
* Working collaboratively with the product design, development, business analyst and project management teams on any UI/UX issues.
* Developing and maintaining UI/UX standards whilst identifying areas for continuous improvement.
* Continually updating skills by learning new technologies relevant to your role.
