P&G is a leading company in the manufacture of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), making some of the world’s best loved brands like Gillette, Fairy and Oral. Here in Manchester, we've been making P&G products at our Trafford Park site for the past 90 years and after some exciting new investment are looking to recruit motivated technicians to join our Pampers manufacturing team.
Technicians will join a multi-skilled team responsible for operating, maintaining, daily running and troubleshooting of complex process technologies on our production lines. They contribute to producing high quality branded products that improves the lives of consumers. The plant operates 24 hours a day and our technicians work a 12.5 hour shift pattern, including days and nights.

What We Offer You
* Competitive Salary: You will join on our starting pay and spend your first six to nine months qualifying into your role. Once you have qualified, you will move to our level two pay.
5-day shift pattern
Starting pay with shift premium - £36,902.32
Level 2 pay with shift premium - £40,436.24
7-day shift pattern
Starting pay with shift premium - £40,126.32
Level 2 pay with shift premium - £43,660.24
* Generous Pension: The Company will contribute double the amount you contribute towards your pension savings, up to a maximum company contribution of 14% of your pensionable pay.
* Annual Leave: You will start with 25 days annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to 30 days.
* 1-4-1 Shares: For every share that you purchase, the Company will purchase a share on your behalf. You can contribute up to 2.5% of your salary into the 1-4-1 Share Plan, up to a maximum of £150 a month.
* Private Medical Insurance: Our Private Medical Insurance Plan, currently delivered by AXA Health, provides eligible employees with access to private medical treatment, if they wish. Eligible employees can request for their partner and / or eligible dependent children to be included on their cover.
* Dynamic and respectful work environment: This role is based in our Manchester Plant in Trafford Park. There are bus and tram links near to the site as well as free onsite parking. P&G employees also benefit from a subsidised restaurant, free gym facility, Occupational Health support, and newly installed relaxation garden
* Continuous coaching: you will work with passionate people and receive both formal training as well as day-to-day mentoring from your manager.

* Are strong team players who possess excellent verbal and written communicated skills that allow cross-shift and function interaction.
* Are able to make maximum contribution with minimum supervision.
