A fast-growing B2B manufacturing business is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Head of Sales to lead and scale its commercial function across multiple product lines. This is a newly created, high-impact leadership role, ideal for a strategic sales professional who thrives on growth, data-driven decision-making, and building high-performing teams. Following the recent rollout of HubSpot CRM, this role offers a unique opportunity to leverage data and insights to accelerate sales performance, sharpen competitive advantage, and drive measurable business growth. Reporting Lines Reports to: Sales & Marketing Director Works closely with: Managing Director Role Overview As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding market reach. You will lead and inspire a talented sales team of six, creating a high-performance, data-driven culture focused on continuous improvement. You will use HubSpot as a growth engine, turning data into actionable insights, optimising the sales pipeline, improving conversion rates, and embedding best-in-class sales practices. In addition to leading the team, you will personally manage key accounts, nurture strong customer relationships, and actively pursue major new business opportunities. This is a hands-on leadership role with a real opportunity to make a measurable impact and help define the next chapter of growth for a thriving manufacturing business. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing sales team, fostering accountability and a results-driven culture. Implement structured sales processes, including one-to-ones, performance appraisals, and KPI tracking. Ensure the team focuses on high-value customer engagement and new business development, leveraging HubSpot CRM effectively. Lead by example by achieving personal sales targets while motivating the team to exceed objectives. Sales Reporting & Insights Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales performance using HubSpot dashboards and analytics. Translate sales data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support decision-making and marketing alignment. Sales & Marketing Alignment Collaborate closely with senior leadership to optimise lead generation campaigns and commercial initiatives. Provide input on target markets, ideal customer profiles, and messaging. Drive the acquisition of new business opportunities, supported by marketing activity. Customer & Market Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners. Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and market expansion. Represent the business at industry events and trade shows to enhance visibility and generate leads. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Proven senior sales leadership experience in B2B manufacturing or related sectors. Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding ambitious sales targets. Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy and market analysis. Hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM (or similar) and data-driven sales management. Excellent leadership, coaching, and motivational skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Desirable: Familiarity with AI-driven sales tools or advanced CRM analytics. Experience aligning sales and marketing strategies for maximum impact. Knowledge of industrial, flooring, or hygiene product markets. Why Join?
