Job Description Agricultural Refrigeration Engineer On the Road - North of England/Scottish Borders We're recruiting on behalf of our exclusive client, a long-standing, growing business with a strong presence in its sector. They are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their field-based team, supporting customers across the Scottish Borders and the North of England. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and practical problem-solving. The Role: Install, service and maintain equipment on-farm Diagnose faults and carry out repairs quickly and effectively Represent the company professionally in a customer-facing role Work independently while being part of a friendly, experienced team Deliver all work to a high standard with attention to detail and pride in the outcome Requirements : Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering (electro-mechanical) F-Gas certification (mandatory) Full UK driving licence Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Excellent time management and organisational skills A confident, clear communicator in customer-facing environments A genuine interest in agriculture or a background in the farming industry Experience with refrigeration equipment is a strong advantage Relevant technical qualifications in engineering or related disciplines Package and Benefits: Base salary of up to £40K DOE Additional on-call and overtime pay Company van, tools, mobile phone and uniform provided Full training and onboarding to support your success in the role Long-term career opportunity within a team where your work is valued You'll be joining a stable, growing business that works closely with the farming community.
