Our client is an established and successful company based in Peterlee. They are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Assistant
to join their team. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below. This is working a 35 hour working week.
The Job You’ll be Doing
1. Cash Book - Initial recording of all receipts and payments.
2. Initial reconciliation matching transactions listed on the cash book with those of the bank statements.
3. Purchase Ledger - Input of all supplier invoices.
4. Tracking outstanding balances, organising all BACS payments and production of remittances.
5. Tracking refunds owed.
6. Produce reports.
7. Accounts Reconciliation - Monthly Reconciliation
8. Posting of Monthly Expenses
9. Petty Cash Management - Recording small cash purchases/sales made by the business, compiled from petty cash vouchers.
10. Credit card processing - including allocation of costs centre, matching receipts and reimbursement of non company expenses.
11. Answering incoming telephone queries
