Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Fareham)

Are you a reliable Class 2 Driver looking for consistent, early-start work? We’re recruiting on behalf of our Fareham-based client for immediate, temporary agency work supporting household and commercial waste collections.
This role involves operating a dust cart on scheduled routes, working as part of a team to deliver an essential public service.
Requirements:
1. Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
2. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
3. No more than 6 penalty points
4. Previous driving experience preferred (refuse experience advantageous)
5. Ability to work as part of a team in a physically active role
6. Flexible, dependable, and safety-conscious
Key Responsibilities:
7. Drive a Class 2 (Category C) refuse vehicle on planned collection routes
8. Collect household and commercial waste in a safe and efficient manner
9. Work closely with loaders to complete daily rounds
10. Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with regulations
11. Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times
12. Provide a professional service to the public and local businesses
