Offer description

We are looking for a Boarding House Support Assistant. You will be responsible to the Head of House for the supervision and pastoral care of students when they are in the House.

Key responsibilities and requirements include:

* The ability to communicate clearly and tactfully, using appropriate methods, and an awareness of the impact of your own communication on others;
* Able to maintain positive relationships with all and work effectively and flexibly as part of a team; willing to adapt methods and routines to benefit the team;
* Ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
* Flexibility and resilience in managing daily responsibilities;
* Strong planning and organisational skills;
* Willingness to accept responsibility for your actions;
* Effective prioritisation skills, ability to meet deadlines, and accept challenges;
* Minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE;
* Previous experience working with young people;
* Experience with attendance or safeguarding issues is desirable but not essential.
