Overview
Recruitment Consultant | Expert in Accountancy Recruitment — Audit Assistant Manager role in Dunfermline within an established firm providing accounting, audit, tax and advisory services.
Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of sectors.
* Leading audits from planning through to completion, coordinating staff assignments and overseeing audit fieldwork.
* Reviewing and supervising the work of junior staff, resolving queries, and providing constructive feedback.
* Drafting audit completion reports and recommendations, and liaising with clients to present findings.
* Preparing statutory accounts and drafting corporation tax computations.
* Building relationships with clients and developing technical understanding of their industries and systems.
* Taking responsibility for workload and ensuring work is completed within budget and deadline.
About You
* At least 3–4 years’ audit experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
* Proven experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
* Excellent technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
* Strong time-management and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
