Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available The role The Offshore Delivery Risk Lead will oversee risk and opportunity management across a £25–£30bn offshore project portfolio, with direct responsibility for £1.5bn in risk exposure. This senior role ensures consistent risk practices, leads a team of analysts, and supports risk analysis, reporting, and mitigation. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in large construction programmes, strong leadership skills, and a solid grasp of UK regulatory frameworks. You will - Drive consistent, high-quality risk management across all offshore projects by standardising the approach, assuring the reliability of project risk data, and escalating critical risks for programme-level mitigation. - Ensure robust, regulator-ready risk analysis for Ofgem submissions, aligning closely with Procurement, Commercial, and project teams to maintain accuracy and consistency. - Lead programme-wide risk reporting, aligning outputs with cost and schedule data to enable effective decision-making and meet regulatory expectations. - Build and nurture strong cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders including P&C, Scheduling, Cost Management, and Project Management to integrate risk management into all aspects of project delivery. - Provide leadership to Senior Risk Analysts, fostering a collaborative, high-performance risk culture. You have - Extensive experience in risk management within large infrastructure or capital projects, with significant experience in the field and professional membership in a relevant body. - Strong technical capability, including expertise in Quantitative Risk Analysis (QCRA & QSRA) and deep knowledge of project risk methods, tools, and their application across cost, schedule, and scope. - A solid grasp of the UK regulatory environment, including statutory licence conditions, and the ability to align risk practices with legal and regulatory expectations. - Excellent communication and decision-support skills, with the ability to clearly present complex risks to a range of stakeholders and senior management, and guide action through sound judgment. - A proactive, organised, and adaptable mindset, with proven ability to influence, collaborate across functions, and drive innovative risk solutions in fast-paced, evolving project environments.
