Turner Schools has an exciting opportunity for a Plant Maintenance Technician to work across all schools and sites within the Trust. We are seeking a candidate with high standards to support the Deputy Facilities Manager with preventative maintenance, works to the school's plant and mechanical systems, and ad-hoc repairs. You will play an active role in completing weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance checks and assist with maintaining the Trust's health and safety culture. You must have an eye for detail, be highly motivated, and have a flexible approach to work to ensure our schools are places where children thrive and knowledge matters.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience of plant maintenance functions (desirable)
* Have experience of working with, or willing to be trained in, the use of Computer Assisted Facilities Management Software (CAFM) (essential)
* Hold a qualification in, or willing to be trained in, one or more of the following skills:
* Electrical installation/maintenance (to Edition 18) (essential)
* Plumbing and/or other recognizable trades (essential)
* Have a full UK Driving Licence (essential)
* Have their own transport (essential)
* Support the Trust's mission, vision, and values
* Enjoy completing work professionally and positively, and relish solving problems
