Gates & Barriers Engineer - London / South East - £50,000 + Overtime + Van
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gates and Barriers Engineer to join a leading electronic security provider covering London and the South East. Due to ongoing contracts and continued growth, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience working on industrial and commercial gate and barrier systems.
This is a full-time, field-based role offering a strong basic salary, overtime, company van, and long-term career development within a reputable organisation.

Role & Responsibilities
* Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial gates and barriers
* Working on a range of automated gate and barrier systems
* Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
* Fault finding and diagnostics on gate automation systems
* Carrying out repairs and remedial works to a high standard
* Supporting ongoing contracts across London and the South East
* Maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and industry standards
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience as a Gates and Barriers Engineer or similar role
* Experience working on industrial and commercial gate and barrier systems
* Knowledge of automated gate systems
* Experience with manufacturers such as FAAC, CAME, BFT, BPT, FADINI (advantageous)
* Auto door experience (advantageous)
* Welding and fabrication skills (advantageous)
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
* Full UK driving licence
