Here at UPP we are looking for a Customer Services and Sales Advisor to join us at the Reading campus. This is a permanent, full-time office-based role working 37.5 hours per week from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The salary is up to £32,965 per annum.
You will be part of our energetic team, guiding students through the full accommodation sales journey, ensuring our services respond to the changing needs of students. Playing a key role in helping us deliver an exceptional service to prospective and new students, with success being evident in continued high occupancy rates and strong satisfaction feedback.
Key accountabilities will include:
* Manage the full student applicant administration services. This will include replying to student enquiries via communication channels, handling complaints, application processes, offer/contract management and all billing related queries
* Utilise the accommodation room management system, customer relationship management system, MS office applications and telephone systems accurately and appropriately to support student enquiries
* Work with marketing colleagues and delivering sales campaign activity to drive occupancy, both term-time and out of term activity e.g. vacation/student lets.
* Work as part of the team to ensure that all relevant aspects of recruitment campaign, including open events, room tours, promotional activities and communication distribution are delivered effectively
* Support and contribute to regular reporting and insight on the financial implications of bookings, progress against occupancy targets, monitoring and trend analysis of contracts and voids, and make recommendations for future actions to mitigate risks
* Work collaboratively with the team and key stakeholders
We are looking for you to have administration experience in a customer services environment with an appreciation of the business and commercial impacts that may affect delivery, along with excellent communications and organisational skills, and a good attention to detail.
Experience in using room management systems in an accommodation or hotel setting would also be an advantage.
