We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider working on a long-term public sector contract. This is a mobile field-based role covering South London, responsible for delivering planned maintenance and reactive repairs across a high-volume of sites. You will be working on a critical public sector contract supporting multiple sites, each with commercial kitchens, dormitories, and associated building services infrastructure. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas systems * Fault-find and diagnose breakdowns across gas plant and heating systems * Work on boilers, water heaters, pipework, gas air heaters, and radiant tube heaters * Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works * Carry out minor installation and remedial works * Produce technical reports, job sheets, and compliance documentation * Identify and quote for remedial works and lifecycle replacements * Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations, RAMS, and H&S standards * Liaise with contract teams and client representatives Candidate Requirements Essential * Commercial Gas qualifications (Gas Safe registered) * Strong background in gas servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding * Experience in building services or FM environments * Full UK driving licence Highly Desirable * Experienc...
