My Client is expanding their Legal Support Teams and has exciting opportunities for
Legal Assistants
to join the
Residential Conveyancing
and
Commercial Property
teams across
Taunton, Street and Wells
.

If you're organised, proactive and passionate about delivering first-class client service, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Legal Assistant, you'll provide essential support to fee earners, helping to manage a varied caseload from start to finish. Duties will include:

* Opening and managing sales, purchase, and property files
* Carrying out initial AML checks and preparing client care letters
* Undertaking property searches and preparing contract packs
* Drafting client correspondence and assisting with exchanges
* Acting as the first point of contact for clients, solicitors, and third parties
* Supporting post-completion work, including registrations and file closures
* Maintaining excellent client relationships with clear and timely communication

We're looking for someone with:

* 1+ years' experience
in conveyancing, residential property, or commercial property
* Confidence working independently and managing a busy workload
* Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and accurate numerical skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
* A professional, discreet, and client-focused approach

Essential Skills & Experience

* Experience within a conveyancing or legal environment
* Confident working without direct supervision
* Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise a busy caseload
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Accurate numerical skills
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and case management systems
* Professional, discreet and confidential approach
