As a Product Manager, you will define and drive the strategic vision for Civica’s pensions product suite, ensuring alignment with Civica’s broader mission of becoming a global GovTech champion. You will create clear, outcome‑focused product roadmaps that support both market needs and company goals
You will lead and mentor other product managers while collaborating closely with product design, user research, engineering, commercial teams, and a wide range of senior internal and external stakeholders. A critical element of this role is managing complex migrations from legacy pensions products across both local government and private sector clients, ensuring a seamless transition to modern, scalable solutions.
You will act as a champion for excellent stakeholder engagement, strong communication, and evidence‑based decision‑making, while ensuring the successful end‑to‑end delivery and lifecycle management of your products.
What you will do to be successful in this role
1. Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and market research to gather feedback and insights that inform product decisions
2. Lead the product strategy and roadmap for Civica’s pensions solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
3. Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, customers, and cross‑functional teams to drive product decisions and delivery.
4. Oversee migrations from legacy pension products across local government and private‑sector clients, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
5. Define clear, customer‑centric requirements and work closely with engineering, design, and delivery teams to prioritise and execute effectively.
6. Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and optimisation—ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery.
7. Use customer insights, data, and market trends to shape product direction and continuous improvement.
8. Partner with Product Marketing on go‑to‑market plans, launch readiness, and positioning.
9. Champion knowledge-sharing, documentation, and a strong product culture across the team.
