You will be working for a local organisation who support vulnerable individuals who have a history of alcohol and drug addiction.
Your new role
1. To deliver activities and interventions which may be alongside peers and volunteer in partnership premises,munity outreach locations and client amodation.
2. To co -produce, monitor and review Service Users' goals plans and motivate them toplete realistic actions to achieve long term recovery goals.
3. To undertake accurate andprehensive assessments of need, identifying levels of risk and implementing ways of managing risks with clients
4. To fully inform Service Users of their recovery options and involve them in decision and consent to motivate them to take opportunities to achieve sustained recovery.
What you'll need to succeed
5. Sound working knowledge of the models of recovery within substance misuse services in practice
6. Knowledge and understanding of harm reduction, and how this relates to substance misuse
7. Understanding of the cause and effects of substance use on clients, families and themunity.
What you'll get in return
This role is an ongoing temporary opportunity. You will be based in Stoke-on-Trent but must be able to work across the City. The annual salary for this post is £22,400.
