Programme Length: Two years Programme Type: Rotational About the Programme On our Economics scheme, you’ll actively contribute to economic analysis, policy development, research, and strategic advice, building expertise to assess market trends and support effective financial regulation. Across your rotations, spanning teams such as policy, research, and supervision, you’ll deepen your economic knowledge and provide rigorous analysis to help the FCA deliver on its strategy. Your first two rotations will be confirmed before you join, your career goals and interests will be considered when your final rotation is selected, aiming to support your aspirations and the FCA’s strategy. To apply for this programme, you will need to have or be studying towards a degree in Economics. You’ll develop core skills in judgement, engagement, self-management, and delivery, supported by mentoring and opportunities to learn from senior leaders. Your work will directly inform regulatory decisions, helping to protect consumers and ensure market integrity. This programme will prepare you for roles in the Economics profession. Due to the government’s eligibility criteria this graduate role does not qualify for Home Office sponsorship. Graduate scheme offers are subject to candidates independently obtaining and maintaining permission to work in the UK for the duration of the programme.
