What will I be doing?
Join us as a Special Process Quality Engineer within the Quality Department, contributing to operational excellence. You will be part of a global, multi-skilled team and will:
* Qualify in-house Special Process installations at Safran Nacelles sites (France, UK, Morocco) and at suppliers (UK and abroad)
* Contribute as a process specialist to ensure the robustness of industrialisation for special processes
* Assess compliance with company, Safran Group, and regulatory requirements
* Monitor installations and resolve technical issues by proposing technical solutions to maintain production and assess risks
* Participate in the initial qualification of in-house Special Process operators
* Represent Safran Nacelles within the SAFRAN group's "Special Processes" Competence Group
* Share qualification work with suppliers and contribute to developing group procedures for special processes
* Coordinate and achieve NADCAP accreditations and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
What are the requirements?
* Engineering-related HNC / HND / Degree with at least 3 years' experience
* Knowledge of at least one of the following: Welding, Heat Treatment, Surface Treatments (preferably in aeronautics or automotive, but other industries considered)
* Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, root cause analysis, risk analysis, etc.)
* Fluency in English (written and spoken)
