Duties and responsibilities
1. To perform all types of painting
2. To be able to work alone and unsupervised
3. To keep a good stock control and make sure that there is always paint for emergencies
4. To report to the manager of any act’s of vandalism about the hotel
5. To have knowledge of all the different types of paint and which to use.
6. To support the engineering team when asked.
7. To attend all training organised by the chief engineer
8. To follow the company’s Health and Safety policy and to be H & S aware to your self and your work mates around you
9. To be fully aware of the fire procedures and evacuation point
10. To do as many job’s as possible from the painting list
11. To do a daily check on all public areas for scuffs and marks
12. To liaise with house keeping on the rooms to be painted and decorated
13. To make sure that you are presentable at all times
14. To understand how to mastic and some small tiling job’s
15. To have a good communication with manager and other departments
