Part-Time Bookkeeper

Our client is a growing business located on the outskirts of Sittingbourne; you would be working with Finance Manager daily helping with the day-to-day running of the Finance department.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Sales Invoicing:
4. Generate and issue sales invoices to clients and customers promptly.
5. Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and compliant with company policies and contractual terms.
6. Maintain records of invoices and monitor payment status.
Chasing Creditors:
7. Follow up on outstanding invoices and manage accounts receivable.
8. Communicate with clients and customers to resolve payment and collections issues.
9. Reconcile accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
General Bookkeeping:
10. Record and categorize financial transactions, including expenses, receipts, and payments.
11. Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
12. Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
Candidate Requirements – Essential
13. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
14. Driving License
15. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
16. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
17. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
18. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
