The Role
* Carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance carpentry tasks across campus buildings.
* Repair and install door hardware, access control systems, and fire-release mechanisms.
* Support listed building works and ensure heritage assets are maintained properly.
* Join the on-call rota (one weekend in 4/5) with allowance plus overtime for call-outs.
The Person
* Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Carpentry.
* Skilled in maintenance carpentry for doors, fittings, and building fabric.
* Confident using woodworking machinery and handheld tools.
* Flexible to join the on-call rota and work occasional unsociable hours.
