Job Title: Social Worker Who You Are We’re seeking a passionate, skilled, and confident practitioner who has significant experience working with children and families. You should have a professional qualification in social work and current Social Work England registration. Experience with court work, especially in private or public law, is highly desirable. You will be motivated to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and have strong interpersonal, assessment, and communication skills. What the Job Involves As a Social Worker in Children’s Services, you will work in partnership with children and families to address their social, emotional, and environmental needs. Your role involves assessing the risks and needs of vulnerable children, creating outcome-focused plans, and coordinating services to improve life quality. You will also complete Child Impact Reports under the Pathfinder model and liaise closely with Cafcass, the Family Court, and partner agencies to support safe, timely outcomes. Skills Specialist knowledge of social work theories and practice Detailed knowledge of current legislation related to children and families Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate to a wide range of people Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent IT skills and assessment capabilities Strong liaison and negotiation skills with other agencies and service users
