Each role will be involved within the education sector in some capacity, so candidates with a desire to explore a career within education are ideal. These roles are excellent for building experience working with children, whilst still completing your degree.
In addition to building valuable experience, it is also a great way to secure a permanent position once your University course is completed. This can either be within a support position or a trainee teacher role. Candidates who do not have a desire to work as a teacher in the future can still apply, as this is a great way of earning money in a very flexible manner (just to top up those student loans). However, these candidates should ideally have previous experience with any of the following either professionally or personally:
· Learning Difficulties Experience
· Behavioural Difficulties
· Psychology
· Youth/Community work experience
· Care worker
· Mentoring
