Responsibilities
* Provide technical support and maintenance for mobile data centre units, ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of critical systems across multiple client locations.
* Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mobile data centre equipment, including UPS systems, battery banks, generators, PDUs, cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH units, HVAC equipment), fire detection and suppression systems, and environmental/monitoring systems.
* Maintain electrical, mechanical, cooling, and network infrastructure while working independently in field‑based or remote locations.
* Liaise with client stakeholders for maintenance visits and outages, ensuring clear technical communication and excellent client relationships.
* Coordinate and supervise third‑party contractors performing specialist works.
Required Qualifications
* Experience working with data centre infrastructure, critical power systems, or similar technical environments.
* Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, cooling, and HVAC.
* Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
* Strong diagnostic, problem‑solving, and communication skills, suitable for field‑based/remote work.
* Qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition) in Electrical Installations.
