An exciting opportunity has arisen in our young persons’ Supported Accommodation for Wake Night Senior Support Worker. Supported Accommodation locally aims to support young people to develop their independence and prepare for adult life while keeping them safe in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
* Engage with young people in a supportive and practical way to help them develop independence.
* Remain calm and respond effectively in crises, using clear and constructive approaches.
* Be proactive and creative, thinking beyond the obvious to meet the needs of the young people.
* Build honest, trusting, and engaging relationships with the young people and staff team.
* Contribute to continual service development by taking on board the views of the young people.

About us
My Options - Activity Wellbeing and Care Services is part of Telford & Wrekin Council and provides a wide range of person-centred support to over 350 people, including vulnerable people of all ages and abilities.
We provide services including Young People’s Services, Community Activity and Wellbeing, Residential options, Community support for those living in their own or shared accommodation. Our services also include a Shared Lives Scheme and The Skills and Enterprise hub to help people develop skills and confidence as a stepping stone to work.
