20 x 5G, 6G & 6GR FCAW Coded Welders Needed for Major Project in Devon – Flux Core
Position: FCAW Coded Welder (x20)
Contract Type: CIS
Contract Length: Long term programme, estimated 6-8 years overall
Location: Devon
Start Date: March 2026 (second intake planned for June 2026)

Rate: £29.00 – £43.50 per hour
Accommodation and Travel allowance: £401.67 per week
We require experienced Flux Core Welders who can work to high standards. You must hold a welding code (ISO 9606) for FCAW – ideally with Lloyd’s or similar class approval – and be comfortable welding in all positions (5G/6G). You should be able to read drawings and follow welding procedures.
A trade test will be required as part of the selection (weld test – details TBC). BPSS security clearance will be conducted, so you’ll need a valid right to work and a generally clean background.
