Truro and Penwith College is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Industry Engagement Consultant (Inclusive Learning & SEND) to join our Industry Engagement team. This is a vital role, focused on bridging the gap between education and employment for learners with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), high needs, or additional learning requirements.
What You'll Do:
* Develop and nurture partnerships with local and regional employers across Cornwall.
* Create meaningful and accessible work placements, industry talks and employer-led events.
* Champion inclusive employer engagement across college pathways such as Personal and Professional Development (PPD), Young ESOL and Progression Pathways.
* Collaborate with tutors and curriculum teams to ensure every opportunity aligns with learners' goals and Preparing for Adulthood outcomes.
* Act as a key contact for bespoke training, apprenticeships, and work-based learning tailored to inclusive learning cohorts.

* A strong communicator with the confidence to engage with employers and stakeholders at all levels.
* A passion for inclusion, with experience supporting learners with SEND or high needs.
* Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
* A proactive, partnership-driven approach to widening participation and removing barriers to employment.
