What you'll do
As a Finance Analyst - Home & Seasonals, your role will involve proactively business partnering with the Commercial teams to provide valuable insight, analysis, and commentary. You will be responsible for running and interpreting reports to offer timely insights to stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities, and collaborating with the Finance Manager to prioritize actions. Your strategic analysis and support in Forecasting & Budgeting will be key in driving business decisions that enhance performance, increase income, improve ROI, and manage costs effectively to ensure the business's financial success and growth.
Who you are
You are a part or fully professionally qualified accountant with a keen eye for detail and strong commercial acumen. Your ability to proactively partner with stakeholders, interpret complex financial data, and provide insightful analysis and commentary allows you to drive informed decision-making and support financial goals. With a track record of maintaining strong financial controls and proactively identifying risks and opportunities, you play a critical role in enhancing business performance, maximizing cash flow, and improving ROI in a dynamic retail environment.
Essential Criteria
* Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or actively studying towards qualification
* Experience in business partnering within a commercial finance environment, preferably retail
* Proficient in Excel and presentation tools, with evidence of translating data into actionable insights and communicating effectively
* Track record of maintaining robust financial controls and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
* Effective communication skills across varying levels of financial and commercial understanding
