As a Sr Process Improvement Specialist, you'll get involved in analysing the way we do things and working with colleagues across a number of teams to make our processes better. Key job responsibilities - Analyse data and gather feedback from stakeholders to identify any inefficiencies in current operations - Establish frameworks to ensure that the balance between quality, speed, cost and other factors are optimised - Share ideas with colleagues and leadership on how processes can be improved - Regular reviews of process efficiencies, offering data-led solutions for changes that will see long-term improvements A day in the life Every day, you'll focus on our business objectives - from improving efficiency to increasing reliability - and find ways to make these happen. You'll be part of a team driving improvements to our operations. That will involve being in regular contact with senior management and a wider group of stakeholders to define the project requirements and update them on status, risks, and impacts. You'll also create communication plans to bring everyone up to speed with the new processes you implement. As a Sr Process Improvement Specialist, you'll be the expert in charge of spotting the problems, seeing the gaps and inefficiencies, and creating solutions. About the team Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we're changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better. We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field - Experience working in supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting - Experience in project management or management consulting including handling multiple ongoing projects - Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data - Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications - Experience in process improvement - Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight - Knowledge of SQL - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
