Checker/Dispatch - Food Production - Glasgow Airport

First Call Aviation has lots of opportunities for people to work in an exciting role as a Checker/Dispatch for a major aviation catering business based near Glasgow Airport.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. To obtain uplift sheet with daily allocation of flights, update sheets for the transport operation.
2. Keep accurate records of changes & transactions (i.e. check off/record changes)
3. Check & Amend aircraft configuration changes (ie shortages/increases)
4. Ensure correct use of stowage labels on each piece of airline equipment as appropriate
5. Keep updated on work to be carried out during the course of the shift and note latest amendments.
6. To check all equipment and is to satisfactory standard, i.e. in good working order (trolley doors, brakes), clean (old tickets removed), dry and bars for correct specification and quantities.
7. Assemble and check allocated flights & ensure delivery to appropriate department/bay/class
8. Assemble and check relevant stock/equipment & ensure delivery to appropriate department/bay/class
9. Assemble and check sundry items (flowers, news papers, juice, water) are placed on relevant flights as reqd.
10. Implement Dry Ice procedure as instructed
