About the Role As an HLTA, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to plan and lead sessions, provide targeted interventions, and contribute to a nurturing learning environment. Key Responsibilities Lead small group and whole-class teaching under teacher guidance. Support planning and delivery of engaging, differentiated lessons. Deliver interventions to support academic and emotional development. Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to assessments and reviews. Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to ensure inclusive support. Requirements Experience working across EYFS to KS2. HLTA qualification or relevant experience (ECTs welcome to apply). Strong communication and organisational skills. A passion for supporting children’s learning and development. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
